Funeral Mass for Elizabeth Klee Hoffman Schoenwetter, 93, Wilbur-by-the-Sea, FL who died Saturday, April 12, 2014 will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at Church of the Epiphany Port Orange. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place, 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL. Interment will follow services at Woodland Cemetery. Elizabeth was born in Wheeling, WV and came to this area in 1982 from Cincinnati, OH following the death of her husband, 1st Lt Frank Schoenwetter, USMC. She was a graduate of Elmira Business Academy and was an ambulance driver in Elmira, NY during WW II. During early family years she was active in PTA and school activities. While living in Florida she was active in the Jacaranda Garden Club and was a Master Bridge player and taught adult Bridge lessons. She is survived by her children John (Linda) Schoenwetter, Susan (Bob) Noak, Richard (Olivia) Schoenwetter, Robert Schoenwetter, Thomas (Susan) Schoenwetter, nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren.
