Dolores Lefler Burley ("Totsie") passed away Monday, April 21st, 2014 after a lengthy illness. She was born September 2nd, 1934 in Lake Worth, Florida to William and Mabel (Sears) Lefler. Totsie graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1952. She married her (late) husband Francis "Duke" Burley in 1954 and together settled in Daytona Beach, Florida where she began her career as a bank teller. Beloved by all, Totsie was dedicated to her family as a fun loving mother and devoted wife. She is survived by her daughter Carrie, and son Joseph, daughter in law Pamela, grandchildren Kalypso, Dominique, Amanda Benoit and Scott Benoit, sister Mary Shaw, and brothers Robert and Samuel Lefler, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held in June at Washington Oaks State Park. On-line condolences may be shared with the family at as well as contact information for those wishing to attend in June. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach.
