from Pratt Institute with his Bachelor's Degree he began working with CBS Television Studios. Later he worked at Macy's as a Retail Store Interior Designer. He served in the National Guard for eight years. Ben moved to Charlotte, NC to be in charge of Interior Store Planning with Belk's Corp. Ben and his former wife, Mary Anna, moved to Edgewater, FL in 1999. While a member of Coronado Community United Methodist Church, he became very involved with their Mission Program and in Habitat for Humanity. Later he joined the First United Methodist Church, New Smyrna Beach. There he embraced their Homeless Outreach Mission and contributed many hours helping these less fortunate people. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Ben is survived by his three children, Lauren and her husband, Jeff Miller of Ridge-field, CT; Ken Fanselow of Peakskil, NY; and Daniel and his wife, Gail Fanselow of Westberry, MA; his three grandchildren: Caleb and Nicholas Miller; Rachael Fanselow; sister, Sue Laskin of Seal Beach, CA. He is predeceased by his brother; Hyman Fanselow, and sister; Eve Maultasch. Private services will be held.
