Dominick DiMassino, Sr., 81, sadly passed away on May 29 2014. Dominick Sr. was born in Rochester, NY on September 1, 1932 to Emidio DiMassino and Josephine Nuccetelli. The family moved to Everett, MA when he was 9 years old where he eventually graduated from Everett High School in 1951. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S.A.F serving in the Korean War maintaining P-51 Mustangs and other military aircraft until his Honorabe Discharge in 1952. After serving his country and returning to school, he married the joy of his life Audrey Wilson in 1956 and had four children. He graduated from Burdett College and later Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business on June 1974. Dominick greatly enjoyed the family reunions in New England over the years but most of all being around his family. He was well known for his wit and funny sense of humor that left you always smiling. There was not anything, he could not fix or do and if he couldn't find it, he would make it. He also loved his New England sport teams, the Red Sox and Patriots. Dad will be sadly missed by his wife and children. He survived by his wife Audrey DiMassino (Sr.), his four children; Dominick DiMassino Jr. and wife Ellen, John DiMassino, Audrey Wilson, David DiMassino and wife Robin, his five grand-daughters Danielle (DiMassino) and husband Bruce Farris, Christina (DiMassino) and husband Jeff Edmonds, Amanda DiMassino, Darian DiMassino, Lauren DiMassino, and two great grandsons Jace and Colton Edmonds. Also, he will be sadly missed by his three sisters; Ida Cempe, Eva and Douglas McCormack and Mary Simpson, in-laws Stanley and wife Kathy Wilson and Rose Marie Wilson and many nieces and nephews. Family wishes to have private family arrangements only.
