Beatrice J. Collette "Aunt Bea", age 92, of New Smyrna Beach, went to Heaven on Monday, June 30, 2014. Everyone knew her as Aunt Bea of Norwood's, where she worked for over 40 years and retired at the age of 81. She loved people and loved working and serving generations of families. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and making her pumpkin bread at Christmastime for all to enjoy. She was very proud of her volunteer work as a Guardian Ad Litem and helped many children and families. She will be cherished and remembered most for her forever smile and laughter, heart of gold, and love of family. She moved here in 1953 from Hamilton, Ohio. Bea was predeceased by her husband, Clarence, in 1982 and her son, Dennis, in 2010. She is survived by her son, Chris (Patty) Collette of New Smyrna Beach; her daughter, Kathy Jewell of Daytona Beach; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 7 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, New Smyrna Beach, with the Chaplain Don Shobert officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery.
