Ray Nolan, 77, of Port Orange, passed away July 2, 2014. Ray was born in New Albany, Indiana, son of Gerald and Marguerite Nolan. He married the love of his life Ruthie on New Year's Eve, 1955. He moved his family to Daytona Beach, Florida in 1972. Ray retired from Sears and enjoyed a life of spending time with family, motorcycling, and Hot Rod cars with his many friends from Daytona Beach Street Rods. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for over 40 years, and served lunch to students there for several years. He is survived by his wife Ruthie, son Timothy and his wife Debbie. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Dawn McCullough, Ashlee Roberson (Ryan), Darleen McCullough, Daniel Nolan and his great-grandchildren, Harmony McCul-lough, Evynn Roberson, Jaxton Roberson. He is also survived by his sister Jean Kraft (Robert) and brother Wayne Nolan (Barbara). Services will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with the Funeral Service to follow at 1pm.
