Aubra D. "Dean" DeShazo, 70, of Bunnell, died Thursday, July 18, 2014 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. Dean was born in Childress, Texas, the youngest son of Aubra and Gertie Morren DeShazo. He worked as an auto mechanic for over 30 years, retiring as the Master Tech for Auto West Honda in Fremont, California. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bunnell, where he operated the church sound system, volunteered in their food ministry as well as supported other church activities. Dean loved computers, fishing, target shooting, his home, and most of all, spending time with his wife Susie, his family and friends. Dean was a huge NASCAR fan, his favorite drivers were, Mark Marin, Davey Allison, Ernie Irvan and Dale Jarrett. Dean leaves his wife of 16 years, the former Susie Whitehead, whom he married March 30, 1998. His two papillon dogs, Eli and Zak; two brothers, Donald (Yvonne) DeShazo of Macon, GA., and Charles DeShazo of Santa Rosa, California. Memorial services celebrating Dean's life will be held at 10:00 am., Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Bunnell, located behind Wendy's off of Highway 100/E Moody Blvd. Memorial contributions may be made in Dean's name to the First Baptist Church of Bunnell, P.O.
