James Daniel "Jim" Hall, of Palm Coast, passed away during the early morning hours of July 21, 2014. He was 51 years old. James was born on September 4, 1962 in Hempstead, NY, to Roger and Wilma Hall. After growing up in Central Islip, NY, James enlisted in the United States Navy and was later medically discharged. After a successful career as a banker for Apple Bank, he later moved to Palm Coast, where he owned and managed several small businesses and also caringly served the community as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. James was a person who loved life, people, and family; a man who made others laugh, who touched many lives, and left lifelong memories for his loved ones. An avid golfer, he was known for his long drives off the tee and once won the Lions Club 32nd Annual Golf Tournament where he shot a net 34. James is survived by his son, Christopher, his parents, Roger and Wilma, his former spouse and lifelong friend, Gina, his siblings, Kathryn, Roger, Valerie, Margo, Scott, and Eleanor, his stepson, Michael Vitale, and their families. Services will be handled by Lohman Funeral Home of Palm Coast on Thursday, July 24.
