Edward W. Johnson, Jr, 77, passed away on July 24, at his home. He was born in Chicago, raised in Kentucky and spent the later years of his life in Florida. Ed retired after a career spanning 30
years with Ford Motor Company and also served his country proudly in the US Navy for 8 years. He was an avid pilot, a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge and also attended the First Christian Church of DeLand. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Martha J. Johnson. Ed leaves behind to cherish his memory, his three daugh
ters, Karen Bibelhauser of Versailles, KY, Sharen Harmon (Keith) of Bedford, KY, Kathy Sanders (Tim) of Versailles, KY, two sons, Charles Johnson (Tammy) of Louisville, KY, and Patrick Johnson (Alison) of Louisville, KY, fourteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, and his special friend, Mary Ann Woolley. The family will be celebrating his life with a service at the First Christian Church of DeLand, on Monday, July 28 at 6:00 pm.
