A Memorial Service for Mr. Clarence Reginald Geathers, 49, Daytona Beach, who passed on Thursday, July 24, 2014, will be 1 PM, Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Living Faith World Ministries. Calling hours will be from 7 - 8 PM, today (Fri, Aug 1) at RJ Gainous Funeral Home. Mr. Geathers was a native of Daytona Bch, FL. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He matriculated in the schools of Volusia County, and was a 1983 graduate of Mainland Sr. High School where he excelled in football. He went on to Daytona Beach Community College to follow his dreams of becoming a graphic designer. Post graduation he went on to his dream job at Bob Space Racers as a graphic designer for 20+ years. In his free time he enjoyed spending time creating memories with his family, traveling, creating unforgettable recipes, listening to music, creating artwork, football and coaching Daytona Pop Warner BUCS "BUC PRIDE NEVER DIES". He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Geathers; grandmother: Theola Jackson; grandfather: Clarence Jackson; a cousin: Kevin Floyd.G. He is survived by a devoted and loving wife, Glynnia "Denise" Geathers; 2 sons: Tory Geathers, Daytona Bch, Alvin Hawthorne, Jr., Oklahoma City, OK; 3 daughters: Kimberly Geathers, Rose Geathers, both of Daytona Bch, and Kalyn Geathers, Port St. Lucie, FL; a grandson: Devin Hawthorne, Oklahoma City, Ok; his father: Noble G. Geathers, III, Orlando, FL; grandfather: Noble Gene Geathers, Jr. (who passed on 07/30/2014); grandmother: Flora Lee Whitten, both of Winter Haven, FL; 2 brothers: Noble G. Geathers, IV, Daytona Bch, Nashard Geathers, Orlando, FL; 3 sisters: Leslie Boyd, Gwendolyn Ford (Melvin), all of Daytona Bch, Terrie Wynters, Orlando, FL; father and mother-in-law: Roosevelt and Cynthia Calloway, Oklahoma City, OK; 2 sisters-in-law: Alicia Walker-Kemper and Cheryl Walker-Hinson,, both of Oklahoma City, OK; like a brother: Shawnthon Shepard (Cecene); special cousins: Dorain Daffin, Sanford Smith and Faye Floyd, all of Daytona Bch; a devoted friend: Lori Braddy, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Clarence will be remembered as a caring man who was wise beyond his years. He will also be remembered as a warm-hearted and loving man. Condolences may be shared with the family at
