Jeanne Jones, 67, DeLand Florida, passed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Monday, August 4th, 2014. She was a retired Deputy Clerk of the Volusia County Value Adjustment Board. Jean was an avid computer expert and loved to take her free time to help others learn. Always able to help her family and friends with their computer problems. Originally born in New York, she was a longtime resident of Arlington, Virginia, where she and her husband of 50 years raised their family, growing together with their three sons and many friends. They then moved to Florida in 2002. Among her many other interests were collecting Carnival Glass, Cruising the Caribbean and taking many Road Trips throughout the country. She recently said to her husband, "We've been blessed and lucky enough to do it all, haven't we Pop?" She is survived by her husband Rick, and three sons, Rick Jones Jr., Bobby Jones and Jimmy Jones. Left behind are also her four grandchildren, Casey Jones, Tyler Jones (and their mom Michelle), Simon Jones, and Oliver Jones. In addition she leaves her two sisters Pat Martin and Carole Newman and her brother Tommy Sclafani. Also two daughters-in-law, Diana Jones and Lurlene Jones. There is also her Aunt Millie, along with nephews, nieces, brother-in-law John Martin, and cousins, all that she dearly loved. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th, at 4:00 pm., at Lankford Funeral Home, 220 East New York Ave., DeLand, Florida. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, any donation be given to Florida Hospital Hospice Care in Jeanne's name. Their address is: Florida Hospital Hospice Care, 770 W.
