A Graveside service for Beulah "Bobbie" L. Wade Crossman, 81, who passed away Monday, August 11, 2014, will be held Friday at 10:00 am at Shady Rest Cemetery, Daytona Ave., Holly Hill with Wiley Lowe officiating. Beulah arrived October 26, 1932 to Paul R. and Lois P. Jones. A Daytona Beach native, Bobbie married the late William B. Wade in 1948. She worked for many years in local nursing homes and hospitals and gave loving care to all. After retiring, she moved with her current husband, Lewis M. Crossman to Crescent City in 1993. Bobbie enjoyed fishing, shrimping, cooking and watching, reading about or talking about her true passion - "Days of our Lives" and "General Hospital". She was preceded in death by David N. Wren, her adopted father and two sisters, Virginia and Rena. Survivors include three children, Johnny M. Wade (Peggy), Edgewater, FL; Helen L. (Wade) Wells (Jack), New Smyrna Beach, FL and Jimmy L. Wade, South Daytona; a sister, Pauline Thompson, the grandchildren who called her "Nanna", Annette F. (Wells) Walker, Jennifer K. (Wells) Newman, John M. Boyd, Jack B. Wells, Jr.; great grandchildren, Jonathon R. Newman, Logan M. Walker, Bryan J. Adams, Jackie K. Adams, and Alana F. Walker; two nieces and a nephew, many long time loving friends with whom she shared a meal or helped her in her hour of need. Condolences may be shared at
