Kenneth B. Malewicz, 83, passed away peacefully August 20, 2014 at home with his wife and children around him. He was born at Detroit, Michigan July 28, 1931 to Marie Merritt. He was involved in the missile and space program from 1956 thru 1986. Starting with Rocketdyne Electrical Systems, the Atlas Sites, Spokane, Wash., Atlas Silos Salina, Kansa and Kennedy Space center on the space shuttle program retiring from Rockwell / Lockheed in 1986. He is survived by his wife Mary of 30 years, son Kenny and (Patty) of Stuart, Florida, Step children Debra Bradford and (Nicky) of Sarasota, Florida, William Cory of Port St. John, Florida. He served in the United States Coast Guard at Cape May, New Jersey and Coast Guard Group Philadelphia, P.A. as a boatswain's mate third class. Interment services will be held at 10am, Thursday, September 4th at Florida National Cemetery with Military honors. Condolences for the family may be left at
