A Funeral Service for Robert L. "Bob" Voges, 85, of Ormond Beach, FL, who passed away at his home on October 10, 2008, will be heldat 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Grace Beachside Lutheran Church, 338 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL 32176. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 14 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL. Born on February 3, 1923 in Terre Haute, IN to Robert J. & Norma Voges, Bob was a 1947 graduate of Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, where he later received an Honorary Doctorate Degree. On August 15, 1945, he married his beloved wife of 63 years, Rosemary Spear. Bob was a retired President for Florida Coca-Cola Bottling Co. along with being a retired Vice-President for Associated Coca-Cola Bottling Co. He was a lifelong member of the YMCA and a former member of the Board ofDirectors for Daytona Beach YMCA and the Board of Directors for Ormond Memorial Hospital along with being a member of the Board of Trustees for Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. Bob enjoyed being with his family, being outdoors, especially bird hunting and fly fishing. He was a member of Grace Beachside Lutheran Church and a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary of Ormond Beach; his daughters:Susan (Charles) Bacon of Martin, GA, Carol Letchworth of Lake Mary, FL & Dede (Doug) Hippler of Plant City; his sons: Bill(Susan) Voges and B Jay (Judi) Voges, both of Ormond Beach; his grandchildren: Rob (Kathy), Jenny, Josh (Dana), Sarah,Heather (Ryan), Hailey, Kim, Jake, Travis, Will, Jess, Jenn, Stacey & Robert; and his great-grandchildren: Christian, Ian, Evan, Nathan, JJ, Mitchell,Bryson, Max & Ruby.
