Jason R. Kovacs, 32, Edgewater, owner of Kovacs Landscaping, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 22, 2009. Jason was born in Hollywood, FL and moved to Edgewater in 1984 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was a graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School and his hobbies included hamming it up with his children, hunting, camping, fishing and boating. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Sharie Kovacs, Edgewater; the love of his life and soul mate, Jennifer Suggs and their children, Spencer, Preston and Jada Kovacs, all of Oak Hill; one brother, Bobby Kovacs; and one sister, Jeanne Wright, both of Nevada; maternal grandparents, Don and Lois Norden, Williston, FL; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Helen Kovacs. Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Dudley Edgewater Chapel with Rev. Emerson Bolton, Pastor, First Baptist Church of Oak Hill, officiating. Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the service time on Saturday at Dudley Edgewater Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sharie M. Kovacs, c/o Riverside Bank, 2130 S. Ridgewood Ave., Edgewater 32141 for the Kovacs' Children Memorial Fund.
