A Celebration of Life for Linda Jean Mann, 54, Daytona Beach, who passed away at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center after a long illness, will be Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Powerhouse Ministry Church of God in Christ, 359 Jefferson St, with Pastor George Butts officiating. Visitation will be today from 4-7PM at Pinello Funeral Home, 1036 Derbyshire Rd, and Saturday from Noon to service time at the church. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Linda was born May 30, 1957 to the Late Freddie and Jessie Mae Mann, Sr. She attended Volusia County Schools in Daytona Beach. Linda was employed by Good Samaritan Nursing Home for nearly 30 years as a Cook Supervisor. She was a member of New Heart Christian Center with Pastor George Butts. Her hobbies were cooking, dancing and music of all kinds. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving daughter, Valencia Jones (Dexter Terrell Boone); a grandson, Mitchell "Malik" Graham of Atlanta, GA; a devoted soul mate, Timothy Dowdell of Daytona Beach; a step-daughter, Kim Dowdell; devoted sisters and best friends, Carol (Rufus) Williams, Sr., Sharon Mann and Deborah Mann, all of Daytona Beach; two brothers, Freddie (Delores) Mann, Jr., and Gregory (Charlotte) Mann, both of Daytona Beach; five nieces, Donielle (Tommy) Williams of Ruskin, FL, Raquel Filmore, Tequilla Dobson, Sherell Mann and Tania Woodie, all of Daytona Beach; seven nephews, Rufus (Vivian) Williams, Jr., Houston, TX, Kenyon (Stephanie) Mann, Dwan Mann, Antwan Mann, Shawn Williams, Jamiel Filmore and Gregory Mann, Jr., all of Daytona Beach; a special great-niece, Te'Mya Mann and ten other great nieces and nephews; three aunts, Edna Blackshear, Margaret Kitt of Daytona Beach and Lillian (Earnest) Thompson, Atlanta, GA; two uncles, Arthur Lee (Helen) Kitt of Spring Field, MA and Gene (Sara) Mann of St. Petersburg, FL; a loving sister-in-law, Rosalyn Mann and four sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law with the Dowdell Family; a godson, Adam Elam; and a host of other loving family members and friends. Arrangements entrusted to Pinello Funeral Home under the direction of Alonia P. Gainous.
