Ronald Thomas Duteau passed away April 1, 2012. He was born in Gardner, MA on July 29, 1932, the youngest of seven children. He met the love of his life, Marilyn, in Gardner and married in 1952. They celebrated sixty years of marriage in February. He leaves four children, Cynthia Rose (Mark), Thomas Duteau, Stephen Duteau (Donna), and Cheryl Marshall (Skip). Also six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family moved to Connecticut in 1956. Ronald retired in 1989 moving to Port Orange, FL. He was active in his church, square dancing, Escapees Camping Club and numerous community groups. Ronald had a passion for life, giving his all to make people laugh. He never met a stranger. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 7th, 2:00 pm at Hope Lutheran Church, 594 North Williamson Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Halifax Humane Society.
