LaRico "Cleve" Alexander Cornelius Cummings, age 29, of Daytona Beach, passed away April 23, 2012 in Daytona Beach. Service will be at 3 PM, Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Allen Chapel AME Church with Rev. Evans Smith officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Calling Hours were Friday, April 27, 2012, 6-9 PM at RJ Gainous Funeral Home, Inc. Viewing will be from 1:30 PM until service time at the church on Saturday. He was born in Daytona Beach. Mr. Cummings attended St. Paul Catholic School and earned his GED from Daytona State College. He enjoyed playing with his kids, shopping, playing cards and taking family trips. He enjoyed Pop Warner football until the age of 10 when his lifelong illness of Sickle Cell interfered. He is survived by his children Destiney Cummings and LaRico Cummings, Jr.; companion Teryland Thompson; father Cleveland Cummings; mother Sylvonia Parris; brother Keishon Smith "Bra Bra"; grandmother Lillie Mae Turner; aunts and uncles Jennie Daffin, Annette Turner, Barbere Trumpet, all of Daytona Bch, Janice Crooms, Orlando, Lamonda Clark, jacksonville, FL, Jimmie Clark, Daytona Bch, Jackie Shaw (William), Huntsville, AL, Larry Clark, Geneva, NY, Delores Lowe (Kelvin), Ellenwood, GA; great uncles Henry Kenner (Yvonne), Ocala, FL, Willie Kenner (Mildred), Huntsville, AL, Edward Kenner, Daytona Bch; great-great-great aunt Bessie Fullmore, Augusta, GA.
