Adele H. Durnakowski, 92, of Daytona Beach, passed away on July 16, 2012, at the Hospice Care Center of Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church beginning at 11:00am, with Entombment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, July 18th, 2012 at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. Adele was born on October 8, 1919 in Meridan, Connecticut to the late Jon Koziarczyk and Stephanie Syzdek. Adele spent most of her life in Detroit, Michigan where she and her first husband, Edward raised their children. In 1972 following her retirement she relocated to Florida and volunteered for many years at the Halifax Hospital. She is predeceased by her first husband Edward Topolski, second Husband, Frank Durnakowski and son, Edward Topolski. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Popeck, Son-in-Law, Richard, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all who loved her and will deeply miss her.
