A funeral service celebrating the life of Harry Ray Kendrick, 47, of Daytona Beach Shores, will be celebrated on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 3:00pm with Wiley Lowe, Minister officiating. Those wishing to call and pay their respects may do so that day beginning at 1:00pm at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home Chapel, 167 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill. Harry passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 22, 2012. He was born on July 18, 1965 in Washington D.C. He grew up in Augusta, GA, graduating from Augusta Tech in 1984. Harry did many jobs in his life including being a barback at the Marriot, bartender at Razzles, and sold cars for Azza Motors. His last trade was selling timeshares. Harry enjoyed golfing, surfing, spending time hanging out with friends, and most of all spending good quality time at home with his family. He had many friends that he will miss, and he will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family, especially his long time girlfriend of six years and mother to his only daughter Angela Glenn and his four year old daughter Priscilla Kendrick and his beloved dog Cuddles. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Smith Kendrick and mother Pia Kendrick. Survivors include his uncle Jim Kendrick; aunt Susie Kendrick; half-sister Linda Steen; nieces Tanya O'Berry, Dawn Bishop and Gwen O'berry; girlfriend Angela Marie Glenn; and daughter Priscilla Marie Kendrick. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Halifax Humane Society, 2364 LPGA Boulevard, Daytona Beach, FL 32124.
