Roland R. Robillard, 102, formerly of West Haven, CT, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2012 at home in Ormond Beach, FL with his children by his side. He was born in Montreal, Canada on February 7, 1910. Roland was a salesman, but his passion was music and he played for more than 60 years. He played on ocean liners, in the Shubert Theatre in New Haven for pre-Broadway musicals and performed with the Executive Redcoat, Eddie Wittstein, Guy Masella and West Haven Civic Orchestras. He moved to Flagler Beach, FL in 2002, then later to Ormond Beach. He and his beloved wife, Jean, celebrated 60 years of marriage, shortly before her death on November 21, 2007. His brothers, Marcel and George Robillard, pre-deceased him. He was a loving father of Nanette Rocha and husband, Barry, with whom he lived in Ormond Beach; Charles Robillard, Framingham, MA; Denise Robillard and her husband, Bob Stein, Sudbury, MA; grandfather of Kristen (Rocha) Donahue, and husband, Ryan; Roland Mack Robillard, Zachary and Cameron Stein; great-grandfather of Chase Donahue. He will be dearly missed by nieces and nephews and many friends in Connecticut and Florida. A Celebration of Life for Roland will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, FL 32136.
