Gail M. Beagan, age 58, of N. Willow Ave., Port Orange, FL died suddenly after a brief illness on November 11, 2012 at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach. Ms. Beagan was born Aug. 14, 1954 in Quincy, MA to the parents of Elmer and Alice Beagan. They moved to Florida in 1974. Gail was a loyal member of Epiphany Catholic Church and also a client at the Association for Retarded Citizens of Daytona Beach. She was a very active swimmer, basketball player, and bike rider. A fan of Star Trek, Andy Griffith Show, Gilligan's lsland, and the Three Stooges. She is survived by two brothers David and Paul Beagan of Port Orange; three sisters, Mary Joan Beagan, Sue Robertson, both of Port Orange, and Linda Beagan of Scituate, MA. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. "We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories. Your love is still our guide; and though we can not see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the Chain will link again. Gail Beagan, We Will Love You Always." There will be a Memorial Mass for Gail at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15th at Epiphany Church in Port Orange. Avalon Direct Cremation of South Daytona is in charge.
