James "Cat" Hesselton, born July 17, 1928 in East Palatka, Florida passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Kindred Hospital in Melbourne on Dec. 12, 2012. Mr. Hesselton was a retired plumber /pipefitter out of Local 295 in Daytona. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and Florida Gator fan. Mr. Hesselton is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marcia Hall Hesselton; his daughters, Lisa Giese (Alan) of New Smyrna and Patricia Engelmeier (Daren) of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Ashley Giese and Nicholas Giese of New Smyrna; niece, Sheila Hesselton; and nephews, Kenneth Hesselton and Rodney Hesselton. At the request of Mr. Hesselton, there will be no service.
