Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Gloria E. Sanchez, 69, of Palm Coast, FL who entered into rest on Sunday, January 6, 2013 will be Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. The family will be receiving guests on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M.in the memorial room at the church. Gloria was born in Geneva, New York and moved to this area in 2000 from Bethel Connecticut. While in Connecticut, she attended West Connecticut State University. Gloria was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church, the Grand Haven Women's Club, and a water aerobics instructor. Gloria also organized fund raising events for the women's club and many other charities. She enjoyed gardening, floral design, interior decorating, gourmet cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved to entertain, and had a passion for Christmas and she had a very giving spirit. Gloria is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joseph; sons Peter and his wife Janice of Palm Coast and Mark and his wife Josephine of Connecticut; sister Mary Ida Piacente and her husband Edward of New York; grandchildren Connor, Lindsay, Charles and Josephine. Donations may be maid in Gloria's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Ste 550, Chicago, IL 60631. The family of Mrs. Sanchez entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
