It is with a sad heart to announce the passing of Joe Wall. He passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2013, he was 26 years old. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 6th at 8:30am at Our Lady of Hope, with a gathering on Tuesday from 5-7pm with 7:00pm prayer service at Lohman Funeral Home in Port Orange. Joe was born on July 7, 1986 in New Haven, CT. He moved to the Port Orange area in 1988 where he made a lifetime of lasting memories. He is survived by his parents Garrett & Lee Wall; sister Allicia Mehegan; grandmothers Dott Dalton and Jackie Wall; brother-in-law Chris Mehegan; God Father Richard Wall; God mother Cindy Elliot; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a loving uncle to his niece Addison, and will be greatly missed by his beloved dog Hayden. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Joseph Wall Jr. and William Parrish Dalton. Joe attended and graduated from Atlantic High School and received his B.S. degree in Criminology from Florida State University. He was employed by Judicial Correction Services as a Probation Officer. He enjoyed writing and listening to music, MMA fighting, surfing, and he was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. He most enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and being uncle "JoJo". He touched so many lives and made such a positive impact on every one he knew. Joe was the most kind-hearted, caring, outgoing, and positive young man. There are no words worthy enough to describe how much he will be missed. Condolences may be shared with the family at Arrangements under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
