Jimmy Thomas Davis, 62, of Palm Coast, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 4, 2013 after a prolonged battle with Parkinson's. Jimmy was born May 24, 1950 in Eustis, Florida to Jimmie and Agnes Davis. He graduated from Mainland High School in 1968. On April 7, 1973 he married the former Sharon Kay Hewett in Daytona Beach. Jimmy enlisted in the Navy in 1969 and spent his life in the Military before retiring in 1996 as a Senior Chief. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jimmy is survived by his wife Sharon of 39 years; two daughters, Jennifer Brown and her husband Brian of Virginia Beach and Amber Ramga and her husband Devin of Atlanta; his six grandchildren, Austin, Katelynn, Evan, Madison, Davis and Dylan; his brother Duel and his wife Ann of Vidalia and his sister Tonya of Vidalia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Agnes and sister Carmen. A Memorial service will be held at Noon, Friday, February 8th at VFW Post #8696 located at 47 Old Kings Road in Palm Coast. In lieu of flowers or gifts the family requests that memorials be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Jimmy.
