The Guest Book is expired.

Rose Ann Lang joined her husband of over 60 years, Ralph Lang, in the home of the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2013. Rose was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend and is survived by her sons, Jonathan and Calvin Lang, and their wives, Cathy and Jan. With her sons, Rose has also left her love and memories with her grandchildren: Doug, Justin, Amanda and Adam Lang and Vanessa Morton. Rose was known to light up a room with her smile, contagious laughter and feisty personality. There was never an event or adventure that she would turn down and her life with Ralph was a perfect example of her spirit and soul. Traveling around the world with her two boys as Ralph pursued his Naval career, Rose acquired a knowledge, appreciation and love for other countries, cultures and expanding her horizons. While Rose enjoyed her travels around the world, nothing brought more joy to her life than her family. Her husband, sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren filled her heart with joy and love. The later years in her life yielded an opportunity to grow close to her grandchildren, to get to love them as children and become friends with them as adults. Rose's sons, Jonathan and Calvin, filled her life with memories that could still light her face up 55 years later as she recounted stories of their mischief and mayhem. Blessed with two little boys, but no girls of her own, Rose found a complete family when her sons married Cathy and Jan. And then there was Ralph, who adored Rose with a love that would be hard to duplicate. The years, the distance and the challenges that they faced only more firmly rooted their love for one another and their determination to find success and happiness. And that was what they did; Ralph and Rose built together, a complete, whole and loving family that will continue to grow, never losing that bond that Rose worked so hard to build and fought so hard to keep. Rose, the eldest child of six, also leaves behind her sister Elena; brothers Peter and Joe; and her brother-in-law, Calvin. No distance that was put between her and her siblings could thin the relationship that she had with each and every one of them. Together, and individually, they were a part of who she was and who she always will be. Rose Ann Lang will be remembered for the effect that she had on every person who had the opportunity to meet her. Living her life with an open heart, she passed along to all those she left behind much more than memories, she left a legacy and an example of how to live life with laughter, courage, a spark of fire and a lot of fight, endless love and a smile that is unforgettable. As Ralph sang to Rose so regularly, "I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places…I'll be looking at the moon, I'll be seeing you." They are now together once again. May Ralph and Rose find comfort in the home of the Lord and watch over us all from above… with a smile on her face that will light up the heavens. Colossians 2:5
