Timothy E. Crowley, Jr., 84, of New Smyrna Beach, a U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major retiring after 26 years of service, died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Bert Fish Medical Center. Mr. Crowley, who served in the U.S. Army during World War II, Korean Conflict and Vietnam Era, was born in Patchogue, New York and moved to the area in 1974 from Ft. Rucker, Alabama. He was a member of the American Legion Post #17, New Smyrna Beach and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans International. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helene; three sons, Walter of Missouri, Michael of Monroe, Michigan and Donald of Ringgold, Georgia; one daughter, Linda Sarlo of New Smyrna Beach; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach.
