Ruby Caygle Jersey went to join loved ones in heaven Friday, February 22, 2013. Born 96 years ago in Mississippi, she was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. Ruby worked at Reed Brothers Factory in Tupelo as a teenager before moving to Ohio. She married Clarence Jersey and they ran a successful boat rental business in Madison on Lake Erie while raising two sonsand a daughter. In 1961, the family moved to Ormond Beach, Florida. Ruby ran a beach concession with her sister, Clara near Ellinor Village for many years before retiring. She enjoyed walking on the beach, gardening, and cooking. She is survived by her loving children, Les, Dennis, and Kim; grandchildren Sean Jersey, Kelly Jersey, and Michelle Gormally; sister Varnell Reed; brother Bob Caygle; seven great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
