-Sandra Deane Schaefer, 67 of Ormond Beach, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Daytona Beach. Sandra attended the University of Florida and earned her nursing degree from then, Daytona Community College, she was a registered nurse, a volunteer at Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler, and avid reader, she enjoyed gardening, sailing and traveling. Sandra is survived by her husband of 20 years, Brad Schaefer, her daughter Jennifer Deane Heller and her husband, as well as her "Baby", her Maltese, Lacy. The family has requested the memorial contributions be made in Sandra's memory to Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler at 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange, FL 32129 and or Halifax Humane Society at 2364 W. LPGA Blvd. Daytona Beach, FL 32124. Condolences may be shared with the family at Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
