John "PATRICK" Ryan, 72, born November 25, 1940, passed June 22, 2013. Pat was a FMF Hospital Corpsman, U.S. Navy from 1959-1968. He served in Vietnam and was part of the Cuban Missile Crisis and Bay of Pigs. He was a Proud Member of American Legion Post 361, VFW 3282, Forty et Eight Voiture 294, Fraternal Order of Eagles #4401, & Amvets Post 4. Pat was a loving husband and father. He worked and retired from the City of Daytona Beach. He had a great passion for grilling, smoking and fishing. He was loved by many wonderful friends who are left behind to cherish his memory. He is predeceased by his Father, John R. Ryan, Mother, Evelyn Weatherfield. He is survived by his Beloved wife, Deborah Wild Ryan; sons, Sean Ryan (Rhonda), Morgan Whitley (Reann), Ryan Whitley, John Daniel Ryan; Brother, John Russell Ryan (former sister-in-law Rhonda Black); Grandchildren: Erika Ryan, Kayla Ryan, Nicole Ryan; Great Grandchildren Maddox Matthews, Greyson Matthews, William Stanton, Brayden Woods, Lilly Ryan, Bently Back; and Nieces, Annie Payne and Katie Ryan. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 30 at 4:00pm at John Patrick's Home Post, American Legion 361, 2648 S. Ridgewood Ave., South Daytona, FL.
