Concetta "Connie" M. Boitt, age 91, passed on June 27, 2013, in the Ormond Beach Florida Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 24, 1922, in Morrone del Sannio, Italy, to Domenic and Rose Mastromonaco, and moved as a young girl, with her two sisters, Carmella Componile and Jennifer Merlo, and one brother, Joseph Mast, to New Jersey, where she met her adoring husband, Raymond Boitt, and had two loving daughters, Judy Boitt and Linda Ippolito. In 1980, Concetta and her family relocated to Florida, and she has been a proud member of Prince of Peace Church ever since. Connie brought a tremendous amount of peace, joy and love to everyone around her. Her passions in life were her children, grandchildren, family, friends and her religious devotion. Her favorite saying was "I just want everyone to be happy, happy, happy!" and always had a smile on her face. She will be so missed by her sister Jenny Merlo, daughters, Judy Boitt and Linda Ippolito, and her grandchildren, Greg Mooney, Ray, Gina and Mario Ippolito, and her great-grandson, Gage Mooney and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2:30PM, Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 S. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL. A time of visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00PM at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL. Online condolences may be shared at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com.
