Emilio Frank Cappelli, 87, of Ormond Beach, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach. Emilio, or Frank as he preferred to be called, spent his life as a successful full time sales representative, but also was a part time entrepreneur with many fun and successful businesses to his credit. Frank served his country proudly in the United States Navy during World War II. After his service Frank attended and graduated from the Milwaukie School of Engineering. Emilio married Caroline Gitto on July 2 1949. They remained happily married for 64 years. Together Emilio and Caroline brought three children into this world Frank from Pittsburgh, Pa, Anthony from Martha's Vineyard, Ma, and Peter from Jacksonville, Fl. Frank was always a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who is also survived by six grandchildren, Gussipie, Caroline, Timmy, Frankie, Emilia and Amber Rose. Frank and Caroline retired to Ormond Beach in 1994. Both Frank and Carol enjoyed golf and making friends. Together they made a large number of close and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, anyone wish to remember Frank are encouraged to make a donation in his name to either Halifax Hospice of Volusia/Flagler; 150 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164-5997, or the St. Brendan's Catholic Church; 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL 32176.
