Lawrence (Larry) Gilmore, age 80, born October 12, 1932 in Greenwich, Conn. Moved to Deland area in 1956 from Maywood, New Jersey. He was a gym owner in DeLand and mentored to many people in DeLand area. Larry also worked with Arthur Jones in the early development of Nautilus Exercise equipment & had the oppotuunity to go along with Arthur's many adventures with animals. He retired from At&T telephone Company, and served his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. Mr. Gilmore is survived by his wife Shirley; sons Jack, Larry; daughter Susie; sister Ruth Mercer; brother Jack; six grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
