Merrell W. Armlin, 95, passed away peacefully October 16, 2013 in Daytona Beach, FL. Merrell was born August 4, 1918 to the late William and Clara Armlin in the town of Broom in upstate New York. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Merrell owned and operated a 200 acre dairy farm in Central Bridge, NY. After retiring, him and his wife, Rosetta, enjoyed traveling in their motor home touring the country. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Evonne; his son, Ervun; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; his brothers Eric and Quintin, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Merrell was predeceased by his wife, Rosetta, of 63 years, his son Loren, who died in Vietnam at the age of 21, his brothers William and Ulysses (Dutch), and his sister Bertha. Merrell spent the last 3 years living at the Indigo Manor Nursing and rehab center. He enjoyed bingo and the friends who worked there and helped him tremendously. Alavon Cremation is in charge.
