Aldo J. Mencarini, 83, of Eustis, passed away on October 25 at the Halifax Health Hospice Care Center in Orange City. A native of Washington, D.C., he moved to this area in 1970 from Virginia. He served his country proudly as a US Marine during the Korean Conflict. Aldo was a master plasterer and after moving to this area, went to work at the Daytona Beach News Journal in the Circulation Department, before retiring. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in DeLand. Mr. Mencarini was preceded in death by his daughter, Pia Roberts and leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters, Gina Moore of Front Royal, VA, Nina Mencarini of Flagler Beach, FL and Linda Huggins of Texas; his sister Anna; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
