Robert McNatt Obituary

Robert Burroughs McNatt, born in Washington State December 25, 1922, and raised in Clinton Missouri. Bob attended the U.S. Naval Academy and graduated in the Class of 1947. Bob married local Annapolis girl Katherine Ridout and raised four lovely children, Mary Lauren Walters, Sallie Brinkley, Tobin McNatt and James F. McNatt (now deceased). Following the death of his wife Kit, Bob married Frances Allen Isabella, and also embraced her three children Terri, Tom and Chris Isabella. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. After retiring from a career as CEO of a Baltimore manufacturing company, he and Fran moved to Florida, taking up residence at Spruce Creek Fly-In. Here they spent 15 fun years involved in golf, community affairs and politics. Following a move to Indigo Lakes he spent 11 great years with family and neighbors. At the age of 80, Bob earned his Real Estate license with wife Fran, and for several years they served the community through Sundance Century 21's Pelican Bay office. After enjoying a life well lived, Bob was surrounded by family when he succumbed to pneumonia on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Halifax Hospice in Port Orange. A service will be held at a later time with family in Maryland.
