Robert L. "Bob" Stilwell

Robert L. "Bob" Stilwell of Daytona Beach, Fla. passed away from complications from lung disease on Aug. 25st, 2014. Bob devoted his life to his career in architecture. He was known as one of the top architect in hospital remodeling in the country. He practiced in Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, & Orlando. Baseball, the Red Socks, automobiles, sailing & a member of the Halifax Harbor Yacht Club, & travel provided his interest. A graduate of Spencer high & the architecture school @ the Univ. of Minnesota, U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean war, Bob grew up with conservative, informed Iowa values & retained them throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary & Jack Stilwell, brother Richard & is survived by his siblings Jack of Grundy Ctr., Ia.,Calvin of Billings, Mt., Marti Peterson of Houston, Tx, & David of Loveland, Co. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests that donations be directed to M.D. Anderson Cancer Ctr., 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030.
