Nancy Farley Gurley, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday, April 12, 2006, surrounded by her family. Born April 11, 1935, in New Rochelle, N.Y., she moved to Daytona Beach in 1950 and attended Mainland High School. She married Thomas Dane Gurley in 1954. They had five daughters; Debra Poulin, Charly Dodson, Lynn Leonard, Cynthia Gurley, (deceased) and Melissa Leonard. She has a sister, Donna Farley-Wade and four brothers, Stephen, Kevin, Robert and Edward "Butch" Farley. She has six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Nancy was a member of the Moose Lodge and The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Holly Hill. She was a popular bartender and short order cook in several local establishments, for many years. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler. Nancy had a mischievous sense of humor and a very generous spirit. Nancy's wishes were that friends join the family to share memories.
