I first found Sy when Barron's published the "Seasons in the Sun" article in Sept, '99, and have been following his work since then. As a financial professional, I still am amazed at how effective his approach is in navigating constantly changing and evolving markets. I'm sure he would be proud of how successful the Seasons Strategy performed the last 12 months since his passing. Sy's legacy will be the positive effect on the average investor for years to come. May God bless him and his family.

At a time in my life when I was looking for a financial direction, your book, Riding The Bear, provided me with simple process for developing a financial strategy. Good work... I have never met Mr. Harding -- but have admired him so much. He was honest, sincere, humble (quick to admit mistakes), kind and loving. I miss him. My deepest sympathies to his dear family and staff. I noticed in his obituary that he was getting ready to release a new book. I am looking forward to reading it. Sincerely, Mike from Dallas

I just want to offer my sincere condolences on hearing of Sy's sudden passing. Having read both of his books and weekly commentaries over the years, I felt he was different than most financial writers. I believe a true sense of the man he was came across in his writings. I'll remember Sy as an honest and insightful person, who truly cared about the people he served.
Sy will surely be missed. My thoughts are with his family and the Street Smart staff during this difficult time.

I just want to thank Mr. Harding for spreading his infinite wisdom. I read both of his books and his teachings have enlightened me. Great men do great things for people and Mr. Harding is in the category of greatness. He has inspired many and will be greatly missed. My very deepest sympathies to Sy's family. I have been following his expert investment advice since 2001 and found his work to be among the very best out there. Although I never met him, I feel like I knew him through his writings, and feel as though I have lost a special person in my life. Sy will truly be greatly missed.

Although we never met Sy personally, he shared his column with us and our readers on our website for several years. We loved his calming influence especially when the markets got crazy and we loved his obvious integrity. We will miss him dearly. So sorry for your loss

Very sorry to hear of Sy Harding's passing. I have read his free financial blog for over 5 years. His excellent market analysis has helped me successfully chart the ups and downs of the financial markets. He was one of the few financial "voices in the Wilderness", and will be sorely missed!! Sy thought of serving people's financial needs before serving his own. He showed uncommon common sense & responsibility towards investing & the Market, free from hype or speculation. His humility mirrored his very humane way of living life. Few financial savy individuals will ever be as humane and balanced as Sy was. I will miss you and your words of wisdom.
