Donald Dean Beason Donald Dean Beason, age 76 of Ava, Mo., passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Mo. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Ava Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Becker, Brenda  
Brenda Becker Brenda Becker, 67, passed away Thursday, December, 11, 2014 in Ozark, MO. She was born to Blanche Ruth Drake and Howard Wayne King on February 22, 1947 in Springfield, MO. Brenda married Brad Becker on May 23, 1987 in Ozark, MO. They enjoyed 24 years of marriage until his death on October 22, 2011. She retired from Guaranty Bank as a V.P. of commercial lending. She loved to travel, going to shows in Branson, riding horses and spending time with friends and family. Brenda was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and one sister, Vickie Waterman. She is survived by her two children, Tresa Marlow-Kimbrough and husband Clay of Ozark, MO; Michael Glenn and wife Shana of Ozark, MO; three grandchildren, Zachary, Gregory and Cameron; two great-grandchildren, River and Lyrick; and one on the way. Visitation will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 from 9-10 am at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 10 am in the chapel. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. Family is requesting memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association of SW Missouri. Bergmann, William C.  
William C. Bergmann William C. Bergmann, 89, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon. He was born November 11, 1925, in Lincoln, Mo., a son of Carl. H. and Mary K. (Garuandt) Bergmann. Bill married Marjorie Scruton, and to this union one son, William C. Bergmann, Jr. was born. He later married Shirley Bruns, November, 1963 and she preceded him in death April, 1996. In September, 1997, Bill married Patsy "Pat" Butler and she survives at their home in Springfield. He graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia, Mo., and served his Country in World War II as an Army Paratrooper in the 17th Airborne Division, receiving a Purple Heart for being wounded in action on March 24, 1946 in Germany. After receiving his Honorable Discharge in April of 1946, Bill returned to Sedalia, where he was employed with the Sedalia Democrat Company; and worked there until retiring. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, currently belonging to the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Springfield. He also attended the Kingsway United Methodist Church in Springfield with his wife Pat. Bill was a man of true faith, both of the word and in action. For many years Bill resided south of Stover on the Lake of the Ozarks, where he enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. While residing in the Stover area, he was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Galloway-Martens American Legion Post 343 and the Stover Rural Fire Department. In addition to his wife of 17 years, he is survived by a brother, Harold (Ardy) Bergmann; son, William C. (Becky) Bergmann, Jr.; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Kathryn Bergmann; eight step-children, Dennis (Jacqueline) Bruns, Mike (Jill) Bruns, Genie (Tim) Rosenbury, Geoffrey (Buffy) Butler, Brock (Mary Lou) Butler, Ben (Anna)Butler, Daniel (Chris) Butler and Beth (Fred) Egge; sixteen step-grandchildren, Jamie, David, Andy, Ryan, Megan, Amanda, Sam, Nicole, Charlie, George, Patrick, Genevieve, Daniel, Jack, Drew, Rebecca, Everett, Laura; and seven step-great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives. He also leaves many, many friends since he never met a stranger. All of the above will miss him dearly. Bill was preceded in death by his former wives Marjorie and Shirley, his parents and one sister, Rosina Knight. Graveside services, with military honors, will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 19, in the mausoleum at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time. A Memorial Service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2852 S. Dayton Ave, Springfield, MO on Saturday, December 20, at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Springfield Council of Churches or the Stover Rural Fire Department. Bethurem, Thomas Lee  
Thomas Lee Bethurem Thomas Lee Bethurem, age 44, of Bois D'Arc, MO, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Cox South Medical Center. He was born August 20, 1970, in Springfield, MO, to David and Cynthia (Arthur) Bethurem. Tom was united in marriage to Melissa Hemmerling on July 31, 1994, in Springfield. Tom worked for Milky Way Transportation Company for over twenty-three years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tom and Melissa would take a vacation every April in order to be able to hunt for Morel Mushrooms. Tom was truly a man who enjoyed the outdoors, but the greatest love of his life was his wife, two daughters, and family. He is survived by his loving wife,Catherine Melissa Bethurem Bois D'Arc, MO; two daughters,Angela Bethurem, Bois D'Arc, MO and Elizabeth Bethurem, Bois D'Arc, MO; his mother,Cynthia Bethurem of Springfield; his father,David Bethurem of Willard; one brother, Paul Bethurem of Republic, MO; one sister, Jennifer Williams of Springfield; and a host of family and friends. A celebration of Tom's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO with Pastor Nic Keith officiating. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Department of Conservation. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
