Berry, Eva L. (Barrett)  
Eva L. (Barrett) Berry Eva was born on August 9, 1924 at Buckhorn, MO. She departed this life on April 25, 2016, at The Baptist Home in Ozark, MO. Eva was united in marriage to Rev. Howard Berry who preceded her in death in 2005. She was a pastor's wife for over 50 years. She enjoyed working in the church with her husband and serving the Lord in every way throughout her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and cherished her family and friends. She is survived by two sons - Jim Berry and wife, Kathy, of Springfield, MO, and Frank Berry and wife, Darla, of Rogersville, MO, a daughter - Jovanna Kellough and husband, Kyle, of Springfield, MO; five grandchildren - Amy Pollard and husband, Bob, of Willow Springs, MO, Chris Berry and wife, Carrie, of Blue Springs, MO, Angela Student of Springfield, MO, Nathan French and wife, Shannon, of Wilmington, NC, and Matt Kellough of Springfield, MO; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30th at Greenlawn Funeral Home - South with visitation at 1:00 p.m.on Saturday, April 30th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Baptist Home in Ozark, MO.

Brown, Lynne Townsend "Renee"  
Lynne "Renee" Townsend Brown Lynne "Renee" Townsend-Brown, 55, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in her home, following a lengthy illness. Renee was born May 16, 1960 in Springfield, MO. She attended Ash Grove, MO. Schools; was head of the Elizabeth Arden line of cosmetics at Famous Barr (winning numerous awards) and later manager of a Sally's in Springfield. She is survived by her husband, Jay; two sons - Michael (Asia) and David Townsend; two grand- sons - Braxton and Oliver Townsend; three sisters- Melanie, Melissa and Michelle; two brothers - Kevin and Mark; mother - Kay McSweeney; father-Hobert (Marie) Hale; and special friend, Charlotte; along with many other relatives and friends. The family would like to say "Thank You" to the wonderful workers at Integrity (Hospice). A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Ash Grove First Baptist Church Family Life Center (Activities Building) on Thursday, May 5, 2016. At her request - no funeral is planned. Cremation was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Nixa, MO. Private burial will be at a later date.

Brown, Robert Warren "Bob"  
Robert "Bob" Warren Brown Robert "Bob" Warren Brown, 98, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, in his home. Bob was born in Springfield, Missouri, February 23, 1918, to Frank and Marion Brown. Bob spent the majority of his childhood in Springfield, Missouri. September, 1942 Bob met Florence Frances Pienkos; they were married February 18, 1943. Bob served in the 8th Army Air Corp, 93 Bomb Group during World War II; he was active duty 5 years and 3 months. He piloted a B24 Liberator and was shot down over Brugge, Belgium on June 19, 1944. He was a prisoner of war in a German prison camp for 11 months. When he returned state side, he served in the Air Force Reserve for 22 years. He retired in 1967 as a Major. Bob worked for the Missouri State Highway Patrol for 30 years, from March 1st 1948 and retired on March 1st 1978 as a Sergeant. Bob and Florence had 66 wonderful and blessed years together. They took an active role raising grandchildren, worked as volunteers for 12 years in the Gift Shop at St. John's Hospital. He loved spending time with his wife, family and friends. Bob and Florence enjoyed square dancing, traveling and fishing together. Bob was an extremely compassionate, caring man and wanted to help people to the best of his abilities. He was deeply loved and will truly be missed. Bob is survived by his sons, Larry Edward Brown Milliger, Christopher Scott Brown, and their spouses; eight grandchildren and their spouses, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many friends and some wonderful neighbors. The visitation will be held Sunday, May 1, 2016 2:00-4:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with Msgr. Tom Reidy, celebrant, followed by a full military honor graveside service in Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
