C. Jennette Chandler

C. Jennette Chandler was born October 1, 1943 in Everton, Mo. and passed away June 23, 2011 in her home in Springfield.

Jennette was very involved with the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and Order of the Eastern Star, having been Past Matron of Queen City Chapter 226 and a dual member of Republic Chapter 370. She was a Master of the Grand Cross of Color, Mark Preceptory and Past Chairman of the Board and Assistant Mother Advisor of Springfield Assembly #15.

Her hobbies included playing the piano and organ, singing and sewing. She had been a professional cake decorator, a licensed Funeral Director and retired from Sweetheart Cup.

She had been church pianist, organist and sang in the church choir. Some of her greatest memories were of traveling with her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Mary Lee Wright. Surviving Jennette is her adoring daughter, Jennell Fredrick.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the interment to follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
