Karen S. Autry
Karen S. Autry, age 69, of Nixa, Mo died Friday, March 25, 2011, in Okeechobee, Florida, where she and her husband had wintered for the past 20 years. She was a licensed Real Estate Broker for over 30 years and retired in September of 1990. She was also active as a member of the Moose Auxiliary in Buckhead Ridge, Fla., and the Eagles Auxiliary in Ozark, Mo. Her hobbies included working puzzles with her grandchildren and playing games. She also enjoyed attending social functions with her friends and always had a "new joke" to tell. Her smile, laughter and never ending positive attitude will be missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Norman Autry of Nixa; daughters, Debra Roesing of Republic, Mo., Donna Bleau and husband Jeff of Nixa, Mo.; step-daughter, Cory Autry of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Kay Boatman and husband Jim of Lebanon, Mo., and of course her "family of friends" in both Fla. and Mo. A Chapel Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday April 8, 2011 with burial to follow. Klingner Cope @ Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
