Linda Watson was born May 15, 1943, in the family home on Clark Street in Lebanon, MO to Claud and Pearl Watson. She passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013, in her home in Springfield at the age of 69 years.
She was the youngest child and joined two brothers and three sisters. She graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1961.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Stanley and Nelson Watson.
Linda is survived by three sisters, Margaret Watson, Springfield, Peggy Watson, and Karin Anthony, and her husband, Paul, all of Lebanon; a sister-in-law, Irene Watson, Lebanon; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Linda moved to Texas in 1964, to live with her sister, Margaret, and joined Margaret in working for American Airlines. They worked in various positions and both retired from American and moved to Springfield in 2003, where they could be closer to family and still travel as often as they wished.
She was raised in the First Christian Church of Lebanon.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013, in Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon with burial in the Lebanon Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience in the funeral home.
