Merle Maxine Iorg
Mrs. Merle Maxine Iorg, age 86, of Sparta, formerly of Bruner, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, August 4, 2012. She was born January 8, 1926 in Abadyl, Missouri, the daughter of Clarence and Jewel (Stapp) Jackson.
On September 3, 1941 she and Oscar Lewis Iorg were united in marriage. Merle retired from Fasco Industries, she was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother.
Survivors include: four children and their spouses, Garolyn and Joe Lilly, Sparta, Jarrett and Joyce Iorg, Sparta, Allen and Sue Iorg, Bruner, and Linda and Jack Wallace, Oldfield; eight grandchildren, Renea, Shana, Sherri, Mark, Andy, Clay, Lane, and Kelly; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold (Spike) Jackson, Strafford; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 67 years Oscar Lewis Iorg on November 8, 2008; two sisters, Mary Jackson and Frances Dalton; two brothers, Paul and Carl Jackson.
A funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Dr. J.R. Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Bruner Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or c/o Adams Funeral Home, PO Box 515, Ozark, MO 65721.

sorry to here of the passing of your mother.I[ron daniels] went to school with all you people.when my father[elmer] died in 1991,i bought a lot of fresh milk from garolyn at brunner.sorry for your loss.

I am truly sorry to hear about Merle.
She was always one of my favorite places to go, (and I think she knew it) She loved the hills and the lifestyle that came with them. I bet her and Oscar are as she would say,
"Cuttin a rug" right about now. She will be missed.
