Paul Pearson, born May 21, 1956 to Duane Kenneth Pearson and Carol (Mix) Pearson in Santa Cruz, California, departed this life November 26, 2012. He lived most of his young years in Illinois, then moved to Seymour, MO. He graduated from Mansfield, Missouri. After High School he joined the United Stated Army
and served our country for four years as a tank commander. He married his high school sweetheart Mary (Anderson) Pearson on June 25, 1976.
Paul is survived by his wife, two children and three grandchildren; his daughter Brandi Pearson and her daughter Brytni; his son Nathan Pearson and his daughters Taylor and Ally. Paul is also survived by his parents; his brothers Mark, Mike, and Steven; his sisters Cheri and Deborah; brother-in-laws Kent McCormack and Neal Elam; sister-in-law Hildaco Pearson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sister Diane (Pearson) Elanx and nephew Derrick Hay.
Paul had a Master's degree in Heating and Air Conditioning. He, his wife and son own Spring Mountain Air located in Springfield, MO which has serviced the area since 1981. Paul served as an active board member for Vatterot College where he provided HVAC instruction and decisions for student career opportunities. Paul enjoyed his lake house, fishing and his friends and family.
Visitation and funeral will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole St., Springfield, MO 65804. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and the funeral on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 9:30am. Burial with full military honors will follow in Missouri Veterans
