Thomas "Tom" F. Holderby

Thomas "Tom" F. Holderby, age 92, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Red Rose Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born September 1, 1921, to Thomas F., Sr. and Ruby (Davis) Holderby in Green River, Wyoming.

He served in the United States Navy in the 1940's. He retired as a computer operator with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in Springfield, Missouri. He also served as a pastor to churches in Missouri and Texas as an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Holiness Church. He attended Spiritual Streams Fellowship Church, Cassville, Missouri.

On September 3, 1976, he was united in marriage to Lou Alice (King) Holderby, who survives. Also surviving are two stepsons, Cleatus and Darrel King; two stepdaughters, Rhonda Pearsall and Darala Olle and their families. Also surviving him are two sisters and one brother, many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, four brothers, two sons and one daughter.

He served as a volunteer minister at Red Rose Health and Rehabilitation Center and also at Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Spiritual Streams Fellowship Church, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial with military honors will be in Blue Eye Cemetery, Blue Eye, Missouri.
