Vesta Lou (Betsy) Luthy
Vesta Lou (Betsy) Luthy, 68, Lebanon, Mo., passed away November 10, 2012. She was born in Springfield, Mo. April 24, 1944 to George T. Carr and Vesta Hada Meents Carr, who preceded her in death and brother, John Carr.
She was associated with Detroit Tool and Die Metal Products; owner and operator of Kids Boutique in Lebanon, Mo.; and very active in Republican Women's Club and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Scott Luthy and his wife, Keshian and Chad Luthy, all of Lebanon; daughter, Angie Heard and husband Dr. Jeff Heard of Springfield, Mo.; grandchildren, Alexandra, Karis and Spencer Hefton and Nashe, Haddi, and Kaigan Luthy, Chase Heard and wife Michelle and their children, Jada and Idra Heard, and Lakin Croteau and husband Ben, and their sons, Yuma and Zion Croteau; one sister, Margaret Russell and husband John T. of Lebanon; three brothers, George E. Carr and wife Ann of Lebanon, Richard Carr and wife Karen of Destin, Florida, and Mike Carr of Mesa, Arizona; several other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held in First Baptist Church in Lebanon, Mo. at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17 with Matt Taylor and Ben Moor officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 16, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Shadel's Colonial Chapel, 1001 N. Lynn, Lebanon. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Memorial Park.
