On Thursday, August 29, 2013, Wanda Nadine Dougan went home to be with her Lord. Wanda was born November 18, 1925, in Galena, Kansas. She married her one true love, Clarence (Bud) Dougan, on August 15, 1951. Their marriage brought three beautiful children into their lives - Kathy, Don, and David.

During her lifetime, Wanda worked 27 years for the Missouri Department of Health and was a 50 year member of the Second Baptist Church of Springfield, MO. Wanda spent many hours enjoying her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren over the course of 87 years. She also enjoyed reading the Springfield Newsleader daily.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother . She is survived by her two sisters - Norma Wilkinson of Anchorage, Alaska, and Beulah Rose Hall of Riverton, Kansas. Wanda is also survived by her beloved husband, Bud Dougan, their children - Kathy Myers, Don Dougan and David Dougan, six grandchildren: Christy, Heather, Lincoln, Alden, Brenna and Hanna, and five great-grandchildren. Wanda was greatly loved by all and will be missed.

Private services will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
